Stories From the City was a two-day multidisciplinary art exhibition at GlogauAIR, showcasing works by 15 Berlin-based visual artists. Each work was inspired by the city of Berlin and ranged from abstract paintings to sound installations. The programme was complemented by a fashion show, a live concert by a rock band, a poetry reading and a performance by up-and-coming singer Sorvina. A cosy café serving homemade food and drinks created a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the weekend.
As one of our early big events, a massive goal was to foster a sense of community within the city of Berlin. The theme of the city was a way to connect us, a shared bridged experience we all have. The foundations of this event was to showcase artists experiences and emotions- through the lense of visual art, music, poetry, and fashion. Using a multidisciplinary lense within a space, allowed for different types of audience members to connect.

The artists apart of the show comprised of many different cultures and nationalities. Their relationships to the city of Berlin differed as well as overlapped in similiarities. Each artist had a QR code next to their work, so audience members could scan and listen to their voice. Delve deeper into their process and how they personally connect to *the city*
